When I was creating this company in 2008, I was thinking that as a teacher, I could maybe help 200 people. But if I made 200 teachers, and each of them helped 200 people.... wow! What an impact. And I'm well on my way on that goal. But so much more is possible, and the full time, professional teachers that came into my life have consistently pushed for more - more opportunity, more empowerment, more impact, more money. And Camp Utopia became an employer as well as an educator. Our dual mission now is to keep giving you skills and tools to grow on, places to present your gifts, opportunities to teach in other ways, opportunities to be a part of something so much bigger than a mat class. Become a Trainer
More people are coming to yoga all the time, but most yoga teachers are barely making a living. The "industry" that supports us is just being created - by us. And the sky is the limit; what and where and how you want to teach is possible. But first, we need to be - and make - GOOD teachers. Guru trainings and studio trainings are not succeeding at that, so there is a big opportunity for professional training programs and professional trainers to run them. Studio Owners: We can train your team for you.
Our Professional training team can bring Camp Utopia's high quality, Yoga Alliance recognized training to you. We've run successful trainings in Wimberley, Sequin and Waco, Texas, and Williston, Minot and Dickinson North Dakota. This Spring we add San Marcos, Texas.
We can handle anything! Minimum students are required, all the rest is details.

Teachers: You can expand your studio's profits by offering a 200 hour training program without all the work to create it.
Our program works! Designed by business and education professionals with a serious love for yoga, the Camp Utopia method develops confident, competent, knowledgeable beginner yoga teachers - and you can learn to run it yourself. Our training team works one on one with you to make sure you have all the tools you need to get started, and then supports you until you feel ready to run the whole show solo. We are there to lead your whole first round of training (if you need it), or simply to teach any of the modules and content you aren't comfortable teaching, (like anatomy), until you are. The program includes space for the kind of content YOU care most about, and we have lots of extra workshops and materials so you can pick and choose how to fill the free hours in a way that serves your community best. Our studio teachers earn an average of $8,000 - $12,000 per training - a pretty good boost to your annual income! Plus, we offer advanced training opportunities online and each year we host multiple events, workshops, and retreats all over, so you (and your grads) can connect to our passionate, growing community.
