3 Unique Modules
3 Amazing Weekends per Module

Upcoming Programs ~ Track 3: Yoga for Life
300 hours

Mentored Programs:

Mentored programs are ongoing, and you can be mentored from anywhere.
Our programs are small, but luxurious. We have minimums for each program, and if your program doesn't make it, you will receive a full refund on your tuition.
Our purpose: to support the professional yoga teacher with the skills and education they need to succeed.
We achieve this with one on one mentoring and empowered learning opportunities.
We want to dive deeper into yoga wisdom and practice,
and we'd like to share our wisdom in the way that suits our unique purpose.
Whether you are part time, full time, some of the time, or just trying to help friends and family - knowing more about how people learn and how to communicate with your ideal audience is skillfully woven into the background of our program, and you can choose your projects based on your purpose and desires.
For some, the career is secondary to the wisdom, and for others, it might be the deciding factor on your choice of yoga schools. To build a solid, long term career in yoga, you must have "more than a mat class" tools.
If you want to work with private or specialty audiences, own your own studio, run restorative retreats in exotic locations, create workshops or classes for diverse markets, write books, teach at conferences, teach teachers, or teach online, we've got the toolbox you need to bring those dreams to life.

Our 3 Part Live Program includes:

Block 1: Body
Deeper Anatomy
More than a simple anatomy class, you'll work with intelligent, practical assessment tools to understand how and where our bod's inevitable injuries and compensations create chronic pain, and how to correct it with yoga.
Block 2: Mind
Deeper Yoga
Knowing how to think is better than knowing what to think. Combining a deeper practice of techniques with the big picture of yoga's history, philosophy and ethics into practical, easy to understand pieces, while challenging you to think for yourself.
Block 3: Spirit
Deeper Skills
Professional teachers and healers come in all shapes and sizes, with different dharma to fulfill. While learning more advanced tools and practices, we'll look at the whole field of opportunity, and help you design and build the yoga-life of your dreams.

To complete your full 300, you will participate in our online and mentored programs, (40 hours per module)
and complete 9 assignments to demonstrate your mastery.

What to Expect

Unlike your 200 hour experience, when learning to teach took most of your time and attention, in the 300, we have time to deepen into and advance your practice, your knowledge, and your skills.
Our schedule is less intense, slowed down, more experiential and meditative.
We're learning to experience the full yoga lifestyle more completely, in the usual safe circle of loving peers, friends and teachers. That means more meditation, more advanced poses and practices, more styles of yoga to experience, more knowledge of the body, mind and spirit.
However, our online requirements for each module keep you learning and growing between each weekend.

We always provide you with plentiful organic snacks, and all your required books and tools.

You will choose some of your own projects (with our help) and they'll fit the life you are building.
That usually means you'll create some classes or workshops to share with your peers. Easy, fun, fulfilling, and useful. We don't worry too much about "testing" and there's no pass/fail.
We're here to inspire you and guide you.

A typical Weekend Schedule:

Friday: 5:30 - 8:30 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (with breaks)
Sunday: 7:30 - 1:30 PM

Convenient, practical, useful modules
for modern yoga enthusiasts and professionals.

The power to choose your "majors" and focus on the skills you need to succeed.

Requirements for Your Advanced Training Certificate

Every Yoga Alliance school must meet minimum requirements for how the hours are divided, with room for each school to put more emphasis on anything they choose. At the advanced level, we want what you learn to be useful in your teaching life, so we put our emphasis on methodology and teaching practice. You may be learning anything from poses to meditation to philosophy within those hours, but our focus is on making all of those things useful in teaching.

TECHNICAL PRACTICE: 100 hours
These are the physical practices - asana, meditation, mudras, pranayama, bandhas, posture labs, adjustment seminars and advanced workshops. (80 hours on weekends, 20 online)

PHILOSOPHY, LIFESTYLE, ETHICS: 30 hours
This is learning to live as an ethical, authentic yogi. To study more of the teachings of yoga, and to practice them in your teachings, your personal life, and your business. (10 hours on weekends, 20 online)

METHODOLOGY, TEACHING PRACTICE:
130 hours

These are the workshops, posture labs and practice classes that make you a better, more confident teacher. You'll use these hours to learn different techniques and tools, to complete your assignments, support your peer group with their assignments, follow your passions, practice more, and deepen your skills. Yoga Alliance allows us 5 hours of business training, and it will be woven into the time we spend on teaching skills. (50 hours on weekends, 20 hours of mentoring, and 60 online)

ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY: 40 hours
A professional teacher knows a lot about the human body, how it works, and how yoga poses can help. That knowledge makes it possible to teach to the specific needs of individuals as well as groups. (You count 40 hours on weekends.)
