Throughout the first 2 weekends of training, and with your mentoring time (see below), the senior team will be helping you - and your peers - narrow down the vast expanse of available knowledge, to the things most useful to you now.
Example: if everyone falls asleep when we talk about relativity, and lights up when we talk about Zen, our online program will reflect it by going way deeper into Zen.
"We teach what we (all) need to know."
Our goal is to make learning deep stuff fun, manageable, and practical. So don't be intimidated - the online classroom will include readings, videos, and great conversations, with assignments you choose, and challenges that make sense for your ideal learning. It sounds vague and intuitive, but it is also data driven - you'll have checklists and surveys and Q&A time too.
What does "mentoring" mean?
Our program creator is a great problem solver and strategist. Most of your mentoring will happen on the phone, online, or around the training weekends. Helen is there to be your cheerleader, brainstorm partner, and guide, discussing your plans and dreams, and together, you'll decide your specific goals for the program.
Every student will be creating 9 projects to complete throughout the training period. This is nothing to worry about - we'll pick them together and they will be things you WANT to do. Most trainees will be teaching 1 - 2 workshops to their peers in the Advanced Skills weekends, and choosing online programs for the rest. Every student will do a karma project, and every student will need peer support and guidance specifically related to your goals. This time with Helen and all your follow up mentoring time will help you plan - and receive - your ideal training experience.
